Hello -

I'm trying to set up a way where Marketo can auto-detect Gmail, Hotmail, etc. Does anyone know if the function exist in Marketo?

Is this what you are looking for?

Checking for Non-Commercial Email Domains

With this you can prevent them from coming into your system via a form. Otherwise, you could always setup a smart list with the alias and set up an alert of something to inform you when one of these addresses comes into your system. It depends what you are looking to accomplish.

Here are details for managing this within Marketo on the database side.

Here's a list you can use if you are managing the flows to exclude such people

Hello!

What are you trying to achieve?

If you are trying to block these emails(Gmail, Hotmail, etc) from entering your lead database with a form fill, this is what you are looking for:

http://developers.marketo.com/blog/restrict-free-email-domains-on-form-fill-out/

Here's an example. It's using a Marketo Landing + Form + Script.

If you are trying to filter the email addresses that are already in your Lead Database, you can do this using a smart campaign - Smart List - Filter

To the degree that a SL filter can help with this (which is limited) it should be:

     contains '@gmail.com;@hotmail.com'
