Fields with values from a picklist

[Sorry if this is too basic] but can a field in Marketo have have a picklist associated with it?  For industries, revenue ranges - to select from a predefined list? thanks.

It will if it is synched to a picklist field in your CRM.  You cannot create a Marketo only field with a picklist.  You can specify specific values to be displayed for a string field in a form however.

If you are adding that field to a Marketo form you can set it as a picklist with pre-defined values of your choice.

Thanks Cathal.  And - can I somehow get the actual values that are in the picklist via API?

As per above, fields on a form can be set as a picklist to restrict the data that can be entered as a lead's field.

The Marketo API will retrieve the actual field values that exist on those leads (does not have any access to your forms).
