Extracting ~1 million lead records with 33 columns of data

I attempted (several times) to export ~1 million records from Marketo w/ 33 columns to a CSV, however, only about ~290K records actually came through. The status pop-up showed that it was working it's way from ~1 million records, and I made sure that only visible columns were exported.

My colleague did the exact same thing/exact same list, and was able to get all the records; only difference being that I was a standard user and they were an admin.

Does anyone know why this is happening or what the issue is? Is it Marketo, excel, or both?
