Extending Oppertunity Obect

I saw the upcoming October release supports creating new custom objects from admin , do we know if this feature will also allow us to extend the existing Opportunities object with new fields?

Support can do that for you today.

We've used them before for this which has worked out fine, but the object we wish to sync to opportunities in marketo changes often and we would love to be able to manage it in house. Is supported in the October release?

No and I have not heard of any plans for us to expose that.

Hi Jesse,

This is what latest release says - "Easily add new fields to custom objects synced from Salesforce and Dynamics. You now can add new fields to your custom object sync without disabling and enabling your entire custom object." Even I am hoping if Marketo lets us add fields on existing Opportunity object
