Example Java Code for associating a lead to an opportunity

Is there some sample java code that shows how to associate a lead to an opportunity through the SyncMObjects API?  It is not clear from the API documentation what the parameter values should be to upsert an association and how to specify the attributes that are to associated with the opportunity/lead.

A working snippet would be greatly appreciated...thanks

Hi Bob,

I'm sorry I can't help as I don't have this working but I would LOVE to know if this is possible.

At the moment we have a smart campaign that triggers a notification to marketing when a "success" from our campaigns becomes an opp within a certain amount of time but the rest of the flow (i/e adding the campaign to the campaign influencer) is manual.
