Question

Event start/end time don't match in Marketo and GoToWebinar

We're syncing Marketo Event programs to GTW events, but when we choose an event from drop-down list in Marketo program, its 'start' and 'end' time appear to be 1 hour later in Marketo Event that in GTW event. E.g. a webinar starts at 10 AM EDT in GTW (and it actually will), but Marketo shows 11 AM EDT as start time. Does anyone have an idea why this happens and how do I fix it?

Thanks!

I would check your time zone settings to make sure it aligns with the GTW settings.  It's just a guess, but it may be the issue.

Select "My Account" in the dropdown menu under your name, and then check the Time Zone selections in your Location Settings.

Again, it's just a guess.

@David, this is what I thought about at first, but it's New York / EDT in both Marketo and GTW...

Hey Elena, have you tried refreshing the info from GTW? Maybe something was changed and then never updated.

I noticed the same thing on the old UI. The new UI seems to have removed the start time on the "summary" program page and the time difference only shows up in the initial GTW sync window now (from what I've seen).

The program calendar shows the correct time and luckily, we've never had any issues with syncing because of it.

Dory, actually refreshing didn't help but thank you for pointing out this function to me!  I decided not to lose sleep over it, hope this error won't affect the program performance.
