Even unpublished emails are showing in Sales Insight

I have tried to unpublish emails from Sales Insight and then are still appearing in the drop-down in Salesforce Sales Insight window. I go back to Marketo and Edit Settings, but the check box remains unchecked. How do I get the emails to not show in Sales Insight anymore? Help!

Two things to check.
  1. Are you exiting from the Send Marketo Email window and then reloading it?  You have to do that for the drop-down list to be refreshed with any changes.
  2. Are you sure you are unchecking the Publish to Sales Insight checkbox on the same email.  You can have an email with the same name, but in a different folder.  Perhaps change the name of the email slightly and see if the change appears in the SFDC Sales Insight drop-down list.

Another thing to make sure is that after you uncheck the publish box, may sure you approve the email or else the changes won't take effect.

Thank you! The approval after checking to unpublish the email was where I went wrong. Everything is cleaned up now. Thanks for your help.
