Error message on the account page in SFDC

Hi,

While editing an account page in salesforce.com, a rep keeps seeing this error message in SFDC:

"The record you were editing was modified by Marketo during your edit session."

Any ideas why the rep might be seeing this error message, when marketo isnt able to write to the account page?

Does the rep keep the te page open in edit mode for a log time?

Contact inofmration might roll up to the account via workflow or triggers in SFDC so that could petentially lock down the record and cause this error.
