Engagement Engine Content

I started a new engagement engine and created a stream. I have a behavioral flow that triggers entry into the flow.

However, I am wondering about this aspect:
"The Smart Engagement engine monitors content consumption across channels, such as email and your website, to ensure that a person doesn’t receive duplicate content."
http://www.marketo.com/software/marketing-automation/engagement-engine/

If I have a Marketo program, let's call it "White Paper" and within White Paper there is an email. If I drag that email into my stream, and someone ends up in my stream who has already viewed that peice of content via White Paper (the program isn't in the stream) will they get that content via the stream?

They should not receive the content twice according to what you said.

But I originally understood that to mean if the email was known to Engagement Engine and it was sent FROM the Engagement, they would not receive it twice.

So if you can, test this.
