Emails going to spam

We send out a bi-weekly newsletter to our clients, and some of them are complaining that the newsletter always goes directly to their spam folder. Any suggestions for what to tell them re: how to fix this? They would like the newsletter to go to their inbox instead.

For your subscribers, suggest that they add the newsletter email address to their contacts list.

Secondly, run your newsletter through an email testing service like Litmus to test it against common spam filters. That way, you can begin to eliminate possible causes of your messages being labeled as spam.
