Email read rates / engagement rates

I have been reading about email read rates and very interested in understanding if there is a way within Marketo to calculate the amount of time some is on the email or another software technology that would integrate to give me this data.  

I typically use ctr as my engagement indicator but very interested in this new metric. Anyone have thoughts?
