I would like an "abort email program if number of qualified leads exceeds this limit" feature in the admin, similar to the limit for smart campaigns, to prevent users from accidently mailing to the entire database.

This actually already works- big sends will still not go out if you have that cap in place. However, it doesn't provide good feedback to the user about what is happening, so this is something we will want to enhance.

Hi Erik - my understanding is that you have this for smart campaigns, but not email programs. We have this limit in place for smart campaigns, but an email accidently went to the entire database yesterday through an email program. If there is a way to set this up for email programs, please let me know how to do it.

Oh, really? I tried this myself a few months back and it worked, but was sort of strange. In any event, we'll look at it and get it all working consistently.

The smart campaign function does work, but I don't see an option for email programs.

Similarly, it'd be great to have an abort option for email programs as well as smart campaigns. It looks like there's already an idea for that.

Hi,

In Smart Campaigns we have Schedule tab -> Campaign actions we can do abort smart campaigns.

Hi Angappan - I love the smart campaign abort feature you mentioned. I'm suggesting a similar feature for email programs.

this already exists as others pointed out.

The abort button is also coming out shortly anyway.

What would cause this to not work? 

I have a campaign that accidentally sent out to over 100,000 leads when the limit was set at 10,000.

Introduce the ability to set email send limits at the program level, allowing greater flexibility. This would enable users to manage limits specific to each program, without being restricted by the global settings.

Workarounds, such as disabling the limit globally or adjusting it for larger audiences, are not sufficient for users who require tailored control at the program level.
