Email performace report not showing clicks

For some reason the email performance report is not showing the number of clicks I expected. We sent out an email for a webinar and have had over 100 people register. Now the only way they can get to the registration page is by clicking the link in the email and the performance report is only showing 23 clicks! This cannot be true!!

I have just had a look and the tracking code isnt on the links in the email, shouldnt this be there automatically?

Charlie, that certainly can be frustrating! Do you have the "view as webpage" option enabled on this email?

Thanks for your response. I do have the view as webpage option enabled.

I checked out the article and I am still a little confused. I have created a lead in Salesforce with my email address so I can receive the emails going out through Marketo... so I actually received the email and every link to the registration page does not contain the tracking code, apart from the three social media links that are part of the template.

We have just implemented Marketo, could it be because of something in the set up?

Hi Charlie,

Open up the email and look at the HTML Do you see "mktNoTrack" anywhere? If so, open up the hyperlink editor in the WYSIWYG editor and look at the advanced options. That's where you can turn the tracking on or off.
