When I add a url to a cta button, the link starts with https. But the link is converted to http when I hover over the cta in the sample email. Example: http://www.email.biamp.com/OTI0LUpDWi03OTIAAAGXBBjFKZxhIh1nxuMDFpXdYFDB8fUvQJNFecMyfDJk_WDOjWvo9c9tYoycYPIrxpME3dl2A9E=

 

After clicking on the cta, it then converts back to https. Example:

https://www.biamp.com/contact-us?mkt_tok=OTI0LUpDWi03OTIAAAGXBBjFKSoLuv3vlZUqmAqBwkQ46FQHslhQp7vz5boBo9VBvkPkpdv5eae20cvASSbNlzfwvzc2af9jaMo1vP1Es4LujHdIdO7So1qxtq-XNR4

 

Does this happen for all links? 

 

A colleague mentioned an unsecure warning pops up when he clicks the link due to the http. Is there any way to avoid this?

This should not be happening if you're truly entering an https:// link from the start.

The redirect from http to https is likely due to your HSTS policy, so in a sense is misleading because your browser is doing it, not Marketo.

Question: do you have SSL enabled for your branding domain?
