email link performance report not showing link that was in email

I'm trying to gather metrics for links we have in the email. However, when i search for the link in the email link performance report, it doesn't show up at all. It's a bit.ly link - could that have something to do with it?

Hi Rachel,

If a link hasn't been clicked it won't necessarily appear within the Email Link Performance report.

On a side note, I'd be wary of using bit.ly links - or any url processed by a link shortener - within emails. They can cause some issues with deliverability since it's common for phishing scams to hide urls behind such.
