Email bouncing detail?

Hi!

I have a sales person trying to send MSI emails and they are bouncing on once particular lead. However, if they email via Outlook it isn't bouncing. I checked and they aren't unsubscribed or anything. Below is the description. Any ideas?

Hi Kim

Most probably, when you are send the MSI emails, they are going out without SMTP email authentication. The lead would have a setting where it accepts emails only authenticated delivery emails.  Moreover, when you send this out from Outlook, you have set an SMTP authentication. This ensures they are delivered.

Alok - is this an issue that the authentication protocols we should set up with our network group will solve, or is this just a common problem with sending emails outside of a dedicated email client like Outlook?

So is there anything we can do on our end? Or it sounds like it may just be that lead's mail settings?

This is something which needs to be fixed by updating the lead's mail settings. They will have to accept delivery from unauthenticated server to get the mails.
