Editing Lead Scoring Settings in Admin

Has anyone messed with their lead scoring settings? My team is always complaining that the "best bets" are not what they are interested in so I was going to experiment with changing some of the options in Sales Insight.  Anyone have any idea what static vs dynamic means?

Any other things you've changed to make your program better/more accurate?

You can adjust which scores are used for Stars and Flames. So behavior might be a better choice than total Lead Score.

You can also review what the team does want and adjust your scoring accordingly.

Totally agree with Josh. Best bets are driven off of the Lead Score: Leads with the highest Leads score that have been most active in the past week will show up on top. I believe top 5% of lead scores gives 3 stars and top 5% of increase in lead score gives 3 flames. If you find out from the team why certain leads aren't good, adjust the scoring to give them fewer points (or give negative points for undesirable behavior).

Hope that helps.
