Dynamics/Marketo contact duplication

Hi,

Is there anybody running MS Dynamics with Marketo and have had any issues with contact duplication? We keep seeing that contacts appear to be re-creating themselves in regular batches.

The duplicates are created without anything but Name & Email and the source is Dynamics. Any advice would be appreciated.

Marketo will accept duplicate records from your CRM.
You can't create a duplicate in Marketo but will accept a duplicate from you CRM because that is your center of truth - so to speak.

If your sales reps/support etc are creating contacts with no process in place to prevent duplicates, you'll need to look into extentions for MS Dynamics to prevent duplicates at the point of entry.

I know of Ring Lead and Dupe Blocker.
