Dynamic email from an uploaded list

I'm sending a dynamic email based on an uploaded list. Will the segmentation immediately pick up the new field values or should I wait 24hrs before sending? The plan is to use the "added to list" trigger.

It shouldn't take very long for the new fields to go into effect. Maybe wait 30 minutes to be extra safe, but even that is probably overkill.

The only edge case might be if you have a trigger campaign that would update the segmentation and has a wait step involved.

I would wait a few minutes (if the list isn't a few million contacts long).

When you upload a list, those leads should instantly be part of your database. So if you're triggering and they qualify they would be added.

If you are doing this by segmentation, just spot check to make sure. Look at a few of the lead records of the uploaded leads and they should have a segment associated.

Thank you. After running some tests for 1, 3, 5 minutes, it was the 5 minute wait that did the trick.
