Dynamic content in Outlook 2010

I'm having an odd issue.  I'm using a token to add a custom field in the database (which contains a line of text) to my email.  It works everywhere we have tested except Outlook.  We are using 2010.

Anybody ever run up against this? Any help would be appreciated.

We are not able to support tokens in emails sent from Outlook.

We are talking about emails sent from Marketo to Outlook 2010.  Not from Outlook.
