Duplicates in Marketo

Firstly, Happy New Year to each and everyone in the community.
 
Hope 2014 brings you guys lots of successful marketing captured leads ;-)

Anyone happy to share tip/ideas on how I can best deal with dirty data and duplicates in Marketo?

I am afraid I must be missing the point. The title mentions "Top Performing Email Report" and the post focuses on duplicates. 

Marketo does not send the same email twice to the same lead in a single flow execution, even though the lead may have, say, one record from a list import and one duplicate creted by Salesforce.
