Duplicate Leads. Who gets dibs?

Say you're using Lead Tokens to populate an email signature. How does Marketo decide which lead to use? Is it by creation date, etc?

In other words, how can I determine which Salesperson that campaign will appear to be from if the contact is owned by several different users.

If you run a campaign to email your lead database and two duplicates are included in your campaign run. Marketo automatically detects the duplicate email address and ensures that only one email is sent to that lead. That email send and subsequent activity will be attributed to the most recently updated lead. Therefore the token values will be taken from the duplicate with the most recent last modified date/time.
