Does using password expiration break SFDC sync?

I'm looking to enable the password expiration in our instance, but I'm concerned that this could possibly break our sync between Marketo and SFDC.   I haven't been able to find any documentation on the community that says if it does or does not.  Can anyone confirm?

Thanks, Marketo Community!

Setting a password expiration for your Marketo users will not break sf.com sync.

Password expiration will break the sync and so will resetting the token.

However, the sync can be easily restored once you provide the updated information to Marketo.

Charlie is right. I've seen this happen before. It's ok to do as long as you know when the next reset is so you can fix it quickly.

Keep in mind Marketo DOES NOT update Tasks/Activities that occur during the sync break.

To clarify, I am looking at enabling password expiration in Marketo, not in SFDC.  Will this still break the sync between Marketo and SFDC?
