Does the "click link" trigger work for attachments?

A sales person just asked if someone "clicks link in email", could this mean he clicked on the attachment of the sales email he "set regarding" to the contact with Marketo Sales Insight. Does anyone know if this trigger works for attachments?

    Hi Chelsea,

    How are you adding an attachment to a Marketo email ? are they using the outlook sales insight? In SFDC sales insight or in MSD sales insight, it is not possible to add attachments to emails.

    Hi Gregoire,

    It wasn't a Marketo email that was sent, it was a sales email which used the "send and track" feature with the Marketo Sales Insight Outlook plugin. We also use MSD though. We have an interesting moment campaign that alerts when someone "clicks link in a sales email". I'm wondering if this trigger would work for an attachment on that sales email.

    It will not. Clicks on attachments are part of the mail client's UI. They are not related via Marketo.
