does salesforce sync to marketo or vice versa?

or is it a one-way thing?

Hi Isabela, the SFDC to Marketo sync is a bi-directional sync so data can flow both ways.

There are certain limitations to this, like the inability to update account fields from Marketo, but for the most part any updates made in one system will go to the other.

But keep in mind that Marketo does not auto sync leads to SFDC. You need to use the Sync Lead to SFDC flow step (or Add to Campaign, etc) to do this. Usually this is part of your lead lifecycle system.

Leads already synced between systems will continue to update automatically.
