Does Marketo remove any emails from the lists when they are uploaded?

Hi, I just recently uploaded several lists but when I look at the counts in Marketo, I noticed that the list size is considerably less than what was uploaded. Are there any things that Marketo removes from the list when it is uploaded?

Also did you have people on the list without email address? They willl not upload.

One more possibility... if you have partitions and workspaces some leads may be in a different one.
