Does anyone use a localized unsubscribe instead of the global?

We recently started using a localized unsubscribe/preference center as opposed to the global unsubscribe and I just wanted to see if anyone else is doing this as well, and if so, if you have any suggestions on how to accurately track/report on unsubscribes.  I'm currently using a smart list that has about 6 filters, so I just wanted to see if anyone else was using a more streamlined process for this.
