Does anyone integrate with multiple CRMs simultaneously?

Greetings all,
We're looking at the possibility of syncing MKTO to both our interal CRM and an instance of Salesforce.com - simultaneously. 
We've talked with our rep and prof. services they've assured us it can be done, and it all sounds very straightforward.  But I'd love to talk to someone who actually has such an environment in place to get their insights into how the integration works, how easly the execution was, and any best-practices and/or pitfalls they might be able to pass along.

I've heard of this. Do a search because I know some folks have done it before. You can connect Marketo to just about any other database with the API + SFDC native connector. I'd just work out a data model and process to ensure the systems manage conflicts and deduping.

One system's data will have to be the "record" data and the others will end up as secondary fields like "Country_OTHER" which could be used to fill in missing data or hold other data.
