Hi Joel,

This belongs to the product section. "Champions" is for questions about the champion program.

What do you mean "Loose email data" ?

As a matter of fact, once a content has been in a stream and leads has been casting that content, if you do not want to use that content any longer, better deactivate it and archive it.

Thanks Grégoire! I've moved the post to the Products section. Sorry... this is my first post on the community.

I understand that deactivating and archiving is the safe best practice. But, I'm still interested in getting an answer. I have some practical uses for it.

Thanks!

In fact, I think that yes, Marketo will simply remove the content from the stream as if it had never existed, at least with regards to stream reporting.

But I think that all the activities generated by the smart campaign in the lead activity logs will remain, so you would be able to use them for filtering or even reporting (for instance, if the smart campaign sends an email, that "email send" will sho in email performance reports).
