Do velocity codes from Marketo work on Sales Insight Salesforce?

We are considering using Sales Insight (first time) for sales team to send branded htmls to leads/contacts. The htmls would be saved in Marketo and would have velocity codes, just ensuring that the mechanism works and data gets picked up. Data records are obviously pre exisiting on both Salesforce and Marketo. Can this happen / work?

Hi Lava,

Currently this does not work via the Send Marketo Email functionality.  The Script token must be inherited from a parent program of the email, but when a Sales Insight email executes it cannot inherit this.  If you need to utilize velocity scripting I'd suggest setting up a Requested Campaign with a send email in your flow which has the token.  This will allow the email to inherit the token and run the script.
