All,

I need to rupture the mapping to SFDC of a field in Marketo. Is ther anyway to do so without disabling the field? Meaning, is there a way to rupture that mapping while the field is active. the field is capturing vital info and Id rather update it without having to disabling it. Any tips?

Hi Gio,

Can you eleborate a little on what you wish to do here?

Do you want to remap the SFDC field to another Marketo field or do you just want to prevent Marketo from syncing the values for that field to the mapped SFDC field?

Regards,
Cathal

The latter. Cathal, I wish to prevent Marketo from syncing the values for tthat field to the mapped SFDC field.

Thanks Gio.

Do you use Enterprise edition of SFDC?
If so the easiest way is to control this in SFDC by setting the field level security access for that field to read only for the Marketo user.
