Deleting Salesforce Activity History affect Marketo Sales Insight

We currently have Sales Insight integrated with Salesforce.  I need to know if we mass delete the activities (marketo email campaigns) listed under a SFDC Contact's Activity History if it will affect what populates within Sales Insight.  Ive been heard multiple answers and need clarification if this can be done without impacting Sales Insight populating the activities.

Hi Jason,

No, there is absolutely no link between SFDC activities (tasks and events) and Marketo activities that show up in the activity log (amongst which are the interesting moments).
