Delete snippet in email?

Is there anyway to delete a snippet when creating an email from a template?

Assuming you are referring to a snippet defined by the base template, one option is creating the email and then selecting Email Actions - Replace HTML. That  disconnects the email from the template.
That is feasible if you are comfortable with HTML/CSS/JavaScript.
