De-duplicating leads using Phone Numbers

I have a list of leads from a tradeshow which doesnt have any email addresses, but it does have phone numbers, I want to enter these in to Marketo and make sure duplicates are not created and are existing leads are simply added to the new list.

How should I go about doing this? Is it possible to de-dupelicate using a phone number as a common denominator?

Hi Graeme, I believe the only fields you can duplicate search on are email, full name, last name, Marketo unique code or name and updated at.

Graeme, you may want to pull the data out of Marketo and do the de-duplication in Excel. You're likely going to need to format the numbers before comparing them. I don't think Marketo can de-dupe on anything but email address.

Kimi, per usual, is correct. Filter is "Duplicate Fields"

You may have a problem with this too. Many companies have main number that every one uses and then they have their own extensions.
