Custom subscription center not working

I have build a custom subscription center but I face a few problems.

Although I have added a link to this page in my email footer snippet ( because I have to change the link for different langauges ) I still get the default unsubscribe text below my footer.

This extra block of content is also linking to the standard unsubscribe page ( Which I can not locate)

Can somebody help me?

- how to remove the default link

- how to link to my custom subscription center page

Have you went through @Josh Hill​'s guide to building a subscription centre?

Sounds more like an issue in getting your unsubscribe link to work properly (rather than your subscription center).  Have a look at @Grégoire Michel​'s  The comprehensive guide to setting up the unsubscribe link
