Custom Opp Fields for RCE

Hello fellow Marketers,

I wanted to see if anyone has created a way to show custom Opp fields as metrics instead of dimensions. We have an integrated accounting system that makes things difficult to have the right tracking so I need to create a workaround.

One idea....
Create custom fields to house the data, then use a formula on the SFDC side to populate the standard Opp amount field. 

Has anyone tried this? Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

Hey Jeff,
At this time, Custom Fields sync'd to RCE can only be used as Dimensions.

When customers do not want to use the standard amount field, they can remap a different field in SFDC to the Amount field in Marketo. Thus, Marketo will base many of its metrics off this new SFDC field instead of the Amount field.

Hey Will,

Thanks for the suggestion! I think that will be the way to go. Do you know how Marketo will handle the field if there are multiple currencies in use?
