Custom Duplicate Leads Fields

Hi there,

I read up on Finding Duplicate Leads with Custom Logic but it didn't seem like there is a way to identify duplicates based on other standard Marketo fields or custom fields that we have created. In our Marketo instance, we are primarily identifying leads from social data, so almost non of them have email addresses. Instead they have unique identifiers like a Twitter handle or linkedin url or non-unique identifiers like First Name, Last Name, Company Name, and Title.

Is there a way for us to use marketo to identify and merge duplicates either based on custom unique fields or some combination of non-unique identifiers?

If not is there some best practice out there for how to identify these dupes through some kind of custom program?

Thanks a ton!

I don't think there is another way except to search them and merge them manually unfortunately.
