Custom 404 page error?

How do we create a custom page for a 404 error?  Right now, users are getting a purple page with The Raven by Poe.  Cute, but not exactly the image that's best for our customers.  I would like to make sure we have a brand approved page.

Your Marketo admin should set it up in the admin section of Marketo. It's the landing pages setting called "Fallback Page". All that is needed is the URL of a page you want to show in place of a 404 error.

We have that set, but from time to time we still hit the Purple Page of Death.  

Before you ask me to send you a link, I'll need to remember which one I was looking at that gave me the error.
