Cross-check anonymous lead IP addresses?

We are able to get a list of customer IP addresses associated with a unique internal identifier (a 6-character code we call "Customer ID"). I want to cross check these IPs with the IP addresses of our "Anonymous Leads" in Marketo. Wondering what the best way to do this is??

Your best bet is to compare the two lists offline. Add the IP address to the visible columns of your smart list (here is how to do it Create and Change Views for Lists and Smart List - Marketo Docs - Product Docs ) and use a query to compare the two.

It depends on what you mean by "cross-check." If your intent is to update the lead with a matched customer ID, a webhook could do this handily.

Unfortunately we are a Spark customer and I don't think we have API access.

I know you don't have REST or SOAP access but I'm not clear on whether the same applies to Webhooks.  Do you not see the Webhooks option in Admin, just to be sure?

Otherwise, like Alex said you can export and compare offline.  But if the intent is to put the customer ID/name on the lead, you would need some way of doing this part (I do know of some ways without API access proper, but you will need a skilled developer either way).

Does Marketo gather the IP address of a lead? And if so, where is it stored? I tried creating a view on a smart list, but I didn't see a field that contained the IP address.

Similar issue - I would like to view the IP addresses of our anonymous leads - did you ever figure this out?

We did not find a non-manual solution. I'm also not sure how this has changed with the updates to how Marketo uses Anonymous Leads??
