Creating Surveys using Forms within Email

Hey folks,

So, I am working with a team right now to send out a survey to our partners that looks something like this:

How are you looking to expand your business in 2017?

      • Marketing Spend
      • Increasing Payroll
      • Hiring New Employees
      • blah blah blah

We want the user to be able to click multiple things, if they so choose. Based on their responses, I'd like to set up smart campaigns that would trigger the next day on a follow-up email, and I know how to do all that. My question is specifically on creating the form and/or survey in Marketo. I know there is a SurveyMonkey implementation that can be purchased, and we haven't ruled that out yet, but for more immediate results, what would be the best way to get this done? Can you do it within Forms, and if so, what would be the best way to do that?

Thanks in advance!

You can't embed forms in emails (this isn't a Marketo rule, it applies to any platform).

Josh is saying that the only way multiple links could function as a pseudo-form is if the lead goes back to the email and clicks each time. That won't happen in the real world.

You cannot do multiple clicks here. Don't rely on people to do what you want.

Suggest you expect one click with a trigger: Clicks Link In Email = X, then do Y. You will need 4 of these to run.

More complex surveys require a Form or SurveyMonkey, etc. There are many threads on surveys here and how to do them with Marketo.

So, is it possible to do what I described above using a Form in Marketo, or no? Is the limiting factor the multiple clicks?
