Creating Custom Tokens from CSV

Hi all,

I'm trying to create a custom token that refers to a cell in the CSV sheet that I'm using as my distribution list. The data I'm trying to display is a number of years a client has been with us so ideally I would to set up the token like so: "You have been with us for <token> years."

Is this possible?

Hi Gerard,

When you say you're using a CSV as your distribution list, do you mean you are loading a CSV file to a Marketo list?  If so, which field are you mapping years a client to in Marketo?  This would be the field you would use as a token.  If you are not mapping it to anything in Marketo, you'll want to create a new custom field in Marketo.  I would use an integer field if the data will be purely numerical.
