Create Segmentation based on Custom Objects

We have a lot of custom objects coming into Marketo and would love to be able to create segmentation based on the information found in custom objects.

I realize I could create a workaround with trigger campaigns and static lists, but the ability to reference info in custom objects in segmentations would be extremely helpful.
