Question

Copy an email's HTML with the tokens filled in

Hi everyone,

We have a set of 19 roadshow events (19!) coming up that all receive a similar invite email. We have tokenized each program to allow for the details for each of the 19 programs to be updated in one location and allowing that data to cascade into all assets (Landing page, email, registration confirmation, etc.).

The problem: we have some users that need the HTML of the email to hand to a partner to do the email. When we pull the the email HTML and populate in Outlook, it shows it with the actual token language; example: {{my.lp - location}} as opposed to Seattle.

Does anyone have any idea on an easy way (again...19 events) that we can grab the email HTML with the token result populated? If you can help me, I will buy you a drink.

Thanks!

Matt

Hi Matt,

I would extract the code with the tokens and run a mail merge operation in MS Word...
