I recently came accross sites which warn me about their cookies. Apparently some countries require websites to warn their visitors of this. Have any of you done the same? Here's a copy of different EU laws on this: http://www.ffw.com/pdf/cookie-consent-tracking-table.pdf

I don't really know much about the actual rules, but do remember reading a couple weeks back that the EU agency in charge of enforcing that policy has taken down the notices on their website because the whole thing has turned into a big cluster-@#$^. From the article, it seemed like the whole thing was kind of being quietly forgotten about because it was hard to implement/enforce?

Yes, Marketo warned us about this 2 years ago and it looks like many firms now comply with the law. I'm not clear how Marketo enables this option for customers unless you insert your own little pop up code on your LP template.

I'd check with your firm's counsel before ignoring this law.
