Contact Role and Campaign member Object duplication

Hi All,

 

Having a weird issue and not sure if its happening from Marketo or if SF is doing it. I tried to do a quick search on community but couldn't find anything about it. 

 

Has anyone had any issues with Marketo adding multiple contact roles to opportunity for the same record? 

Marketo shouldn't have access to do it on an opportunity level.

The same thing is happening on the campaign object. the campaign itself shows correct and normal numbers however in a report its showing 4 million people when there is only 30k in a campaign. For the opp the duplicates(multiple roles reference the same) the same person in Marketo shows they have like  18 opportunities but its the same opp. 

 

Let me know if anyone has seen this before.

Just to add another note. We turned some stuff off in SF and it didn't change anything.

 

To test we uploaded 23 records through Marketo for an event attendance and it created 23 memberships for each of those 23 contacts. We have a case open with support and SF support.
