Contact Owner Assignment

When I import a lead acquisition list into Marketo, the original file has the contact owner identified.  However, when I check the lead database, the contact owner has been changed to whoever imported the list.  The entire list is not affected, only a percentage of the leads.  

Any insights as to what is going on?

The only idea that I have is that maybe when the list was imported the Marketo field didn't match the column name.

I double checked to make sure that the field and column name matched. I am really stumped by this since it only affects some of the leads and not all of them.

Another possibility could be that there is simply a lag between the upload occurring and all field updates being pushed through to the Salesforce side.  When you say 'lead database' are you referring to a CRM, or do you mean Marketo's lead database?

You could also check your Admin settings to see if there are any fields or values being blocked from updating lead records via list uploads.
