Confused about the delivery stats

I am new to Marketo and am trying to understand my delivery stats. A recent email that I did was sent out to 9,922 people. 1,099 emails bounced. So, in theory, 8,823 were delivered, but Marketo is telling me that they delivered 8,491. Not sure why there is a difference. Am I missing something in the report?

The difference is probably due to the ISP refusing to deliver the emails.  Some ISPs will not deliver email that are considered spam, they just dissappear and never even hit the spam box
