Configuring customized facebook share link/icon for landing page

Has anyone had any luck adding a customized facebook share link (ie - when you click "share" I would like to pre-fill in the message that shows up for posting.) They used to have a place in Marketo where you can do this but they recently deprecated this (https://experienceleague.adobe.com/en/docs/marketo/using/product-docs/demand-generation/social/configuring-social-actions/configure-social-sign-up-share-flow). 

I tried using the facebook developer tools and manually put in the appropriate open graph meta tags and coding, but it seems to ignore the OG info. Wondering if it's a problem with Marketo not recognizing it or if it's the code (but it works as a standard blank share with the right url, just not pulling the customized title and description from the meta tag.)
