Communications Limits M-F

Communications limits are awesome, but 7 days?  We would love some flexibility around this. The option to control how many days would be awesome, or even limit it to a M-F business week. I have heard of several companies creating their own way around this, like a custom field or using the Not was sent filter - but that limits usage of marketo in other areas - specifically engagement emails.
