Cloning a Program: Please clone the report setup with it

If you clone a program where an - say - Email Performance Report lives, and that Email Performance Report is set up to report on all emails in that program, the cloning process should update that reference to the clone.

That functionality existed before the Sky UI refresh. Please bring it back.

    I just found that this actually works a bit differently than I thought. The references in the Email Performance Report are being correctly updated to the clone, if the report lives directly underneath the program. If it lives in a folder though - like "Reports" e.g., as I assume many people do - the references stay with the original program.

      I’ve found this workaround doesn’t work in my instance. I’m disappointed that this is the one part of our programs that we can’t templatize. Please add this improvement to the roadmap!

      Okay, this post is three years old. Here’s how this works today.

      If you have the report directly underneath your program like this:
       

       

      And that Email Performance Report is set to report on all emails in that program:
       

       

      Then, after cloning into another program, the report will adapt to that new clone program. And that’s how it should be.

       

      But: If you put that report in a folder “Reports”, and still have it set to cover all emails in that program, after cloning it will only extend to all emails in the folder “Reports” - where of course no emails live. And that’s not how it should be.
